The golden what?

Uh, compass. An atheist movie aimed at children that seems to me, from the summary of the books it is based on and the trailer I found at Apple dot com, to demonise the Church as well as to distort God and Revelation. From what we’ve seen, such thoughts can create world religions. Accordingly, I provide three links. The first one describes everything you need to know about it without watching the trailer:

1. What Zenit says every parent should know about this crime;

2. A call to Mel Gibson to make a better and more truthful film from Fr. Finnigan; and

3. What looks like an excellent book about the author of the books the movie is based on.

Boycott that movie, if only to make a statement of disapproval.
