And I’m finally in Oxford, beginning a new adventure. The term begins Monday and the Dominican library is impressively, even frighteningly, large. My problem is going to be trying to read more than I ever have before, and read it well enough to comment on it. It helps to have a love for books.

Happily, I have also discovered the Oxford Oratory and what appears to me to be a regular Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Rite. Delightful.

I am content. I wish any reader of this little entry a most Happy Feast Day and I bid you, in honour of St. Francis and his Franciscans, Pax et bonum.
