Mother Teresa: yet another model for me

I got to the read the Time article on Mother Teresa just now. It has been criticised by the Catholic blogosphere, but it is really all you can expect from the secular news. They just had to bring out atheist spokesman Mr. Hitchens, for example, although he has nothing to do with anything. What did annoy me was the continual reference to the Church as ‘her church’, but I’m just Catholic. I didn’t find the article all bad and I consider that book to be required reading for all of us, which is probably why Mother Church has not destroyed the letters as Holy Teresa wished. It’s a remarkable display of perseverance in the face of doubt.
