Ubi Caritas
Ubi caritas et amor,
Deus ibi est.
Congregavit nos
in unum Christi amor.
Exultemus, et
in ipso iucundemur.
Timeamus,
et amemus Deum vivum.
Et ex corde diligamus
nos sincero.Ubi caritas et amor,
Deus ibi est.
Simul ergo cum
in unum congregamur:
Ne nos mente
dividamur, caveamus.
Cessent iurgia maligna,
cessent lites.
Et in medio nostri
sit Christus Deus.Ubi caritas et amor,
Deus ibi est.
Simul quoque
cum beatis videamus,
Glorianter vultum tuum,
Christe Deus:
Gaudium quod est
immensum, atque probum,
Saecula per infinita
saeculorum. Amen.Thesaurus praecum latinarum favorite cds

Ave, Regina caelorum
AVE, Regina caelorum,
Ave, Domina Angelorum:
Salve, radix, salve, porta,
Ex qua mundo lux est orta:Gaude, Virgo gloriosa,
Super omnes speciosa,
Vale, o valde decora,
Et pro nobis Christum exora.Dignare me laudare te,
Virgo sacrata.
Da mihi virtutem
contra hostes tuos.Oremus Concede, misericors Deus, fragilitati nostrae praesidium; ut, qui sanctae Dei Genetricis memoriam agimus; intercessionis eius auxilio, a nostris iniquitatibus resurgamus. Per eundem Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.

Another one: Nightcrawler, Catholic mutant
April 6, 2007 |
You rarely see Catholic heroes in the movies. In X-men 2, Nightcrawler carries a cross, makes direct references to the Lord and says the Pater Noster when he is nervous. He also recites Psalm 22, when a friend dies.
According to this, he was briefly a priest. I don’t know how a Catholic can briefly be a priest, but hey, it’s a comic book. I should be more than a little shaken to see a priest with blue skin and a pointy tail.

Memorare
Amen.
