What is it with the ‘resurrifix’?

The pseudo-crucifix, where the figure portrayed is a rising Christ, rather than a crucified Christ. It appears to be an innovation of the post Conciliar period, again. Here are two blog posts, one from Fr. Erik with his Orthometer, the other from the Dominican Idaho:
