Discover WikiMapia. Below is a shot of Vatican City. My connection is bad, so it doesn’t download all the squares the first time. It’s like an online Google Earth, but people can mark locations up themselves; the boxes visible in the screenshot are public mark-ups. The resolution goes down to individual houses, even in places Google Earth couldn’t resolve in places of the world outside the US.
